Albert Martin Jr. was born December 19, 1936, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, to the late Marcella Lynch Martin and Albert Martin Sr.
Albert graduated from Penn Treaty Junior High School. He served in the United States Air Force from December 1954 to November 1960 as an Engineer Equipment Specialist at Goose AB Laboratory.
After serving in the Air Force, Albert began working as a clerk at the Philadelphia Housing Authority. He was later promoted to Inventory Supervisor, where he became the first black man to hold the position as Warehouse Manager.
Albert loved boxing, going on cruises, and music. Especially smooth jazz and oldies. He was loved by everyone; his neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family. He will be truly missed.
Albert is survived by his loving wife Terry Martin, daughter Cindy Hicks, and grandson Marcus Martin. Three sisters; Olive Harris, Sharon Martin, and Gwendolyn Martin. Two brothers; Steven Martin, Robert Martin. Aunt; Bessie Lynch.
