Cecilio C. DeJesus

Cecilio C. DeJesus, 81 from Salinas Puerto Rico, once married to Rochelle Bootsy Reid, passed away on November 3,2020. Our father managed his illness with strength and grace, and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones, if possible. Cecilio C. DeJesus was a human who worked extremely hard. He had a passion for cars, women, spending time with friends, and immediate family, music, dancing, guitar, bongos, and palillo. One of our father’s biggest accomplishments was being a father. He had always wanted children and considered himself lucky enough to have 11 children. I Carl DeJesus thought of our father as a superhero, like John Wayne. Cecilio DeJesus always said our dad reminded him of Michael Landon from little house on the prairie, even as adults, we still see him that way. He was always there for his oldest children through their ups and downs, and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer, prior to him parting ways with his children. He is also survived by his eldest brother Tomas and sisters. On this final day, he is surrounded by his children, who he adored more than anything else in the world.
