Debra Bryant Obituary

Debra Anita Wallace Bryant was born on February 6, 1948 in New Britain, CT to the late Arthur and Merriel Wallace. During the mid 1950’s, she moved to Phila, PA where she graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High. She met and was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life, the late Ronald Bryant, in July of 1988. Together they traveled throughout the United States and resided in Laurel, MD. In 1990, they harmoniously raised Paulena Bryant as their own.

She worked various clerical positions and took great joy in traveling the world with her mother. She had many hobbies i.e. reading romance novels, watching sports of all kind, bowling, dancing, cooking, and playing Sports Champion. 

Debra was a God loving and supportive family member. She was a member of St. Athanasius Parish in Phila, PA where she volunteered to work Bingo. Debra attended mass and participated in Parish events.

She is preceded in death by brothers; Arthur Wallace Jr, and Paul Wallace, sisters; Franzesca Wallace Smith and Birdena Wallace.

Debra is survived by her daughter, Paulena Bryant Williams, 3 grandchildren; Jayden Staten, Shawn Williams Jr, and Mackenzie Williams, brothers; Theodore Wallace (Linda), Raymond Wallace (Carol), Andrew Wallace (late Linda), Porres Wallace (Tracey) and Calvin Wallace, 24 nieces and nephews; Arthur Wallace III, Marcus Wallace, Shanda Wallace, Roxanne Wallace, Theodore Wallace Jr, David Wallace, Rick Wallace, Kristina Wallace, Angela Wallace, Raymond Wallace Jr, Brendetta Wallace, Ayshia Wallace, Vencent Wallace, Henry Sykes, Trevor Sykes, Teresa F Sykes Armstrong, Patrick Spencer, Andrew Wallace Jr, Demetrius Wallace, Linda Wallace, Nolan Cowan, Blare Wallace, Nicholas Wallace, Ashanti Wallace and Calvin Wallace Jr, and a host of grand nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
