Richard Partee was born on April 11, 1963, to the Elaine Partee Adams and Paul Parsons. He was the oldest of three sons.
As a child, he attended public school in the School District of Philadelphia. Richard also attended Community College. His employment included work in housekeeping and construction as well as being self-employed. Although Richard never married, he truly enjoyed spending time with his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Richard was very friendly and smart. One of his desires
in his younger years was to join the Army Reserves where he was active from November 1984 to February 1985 and then from July 1985 and March 1986. He served in the military until he was injured in 1986.
Unfortunately, due to a service-related injury, he was honorably discharged from the military. Richard especially enjoyed the company of his neighborhood friends and those from the Fresh
Start Program and the VA. He had an opportunity to speak with some of them when he went to the VA Medical Center for medical appointments. Richard was loved by all his neighbors, and he enjoyed helping them with whatever they needed whether it was with their groceries or with doing yard work.
His heart was with his grandmother, "Granny" and his Aunt Gail. Richard enjoyed footwear and had an assorted collection of sneakers. He enjoyed spending time with family especially during the holiday seasons.
Richard was a sports enthusiast. He would watch just about every type of sport. When he was younger, he loved watching wrestling and his favorite football team, the Oakland Raiders, now known as the Las Vegas Raiders. As Richard got older, watching sports on his television became his favorite past time. It did not matter the type of sport, as he would watch it all.
Richard was predeceased by his father, Paul; mother, Elaine; brother, Derwin as well as his grandmother, "granny"; and Aunt Gail. He leaves to cherish his memory, Uncle, Richard; Aunt Carolyn; brother, Shawn; a host of cousin; other relatives; and friends. He will be truly missed by all.
